For years I have suffered severe panic attacks and anxiety and I know I am among many thousands of people who experience similar. One of the suggests “cures” that really stood high above all the rest for me is exercise and in particular Pilates. The technique requires so much concentration, practice, precision and focus, you literally don’t have any headspace left to worry about anything else! I ALWAYS feel great after too.

Pilates rewards (rather than punishes) you for your practice. I love that it’s all about progress, not being perfect and taking steps to understand your body, noticing where we might need to bring balance. It requires focus on yourself which is a useful tool and very helpful in todays world. It’s an intelligent way to work and support your body and mind. Of course you’ll see amazing changes, but the mental connection and control it can provide is, for me, unrivalled to anything I’ve ever done.
